Join us for an informal and interactive sharing session by Jason (), where he’ll talk about the joys, challenges and experiences that come with photographing birds in the wild.

Discover what goes into getting that compelling shot — from finding and observing birds in the field, to working with composition, techniques and the unexpected lessons that come with photographing wildlife. We’ll also hear the stories behind some of Jason’s favourite shots and the moments that made them memorable.

But this isn’t meant to be a one-way sharing! Whether you’re an experienced bird photographer, just starting out, or simply curious about wildlife photography, come along, share your own photographs, exchange experiences and tips, and bring along your questions.

What we’ll chat about:
📸 Getting started with bird photography
🐦 Finding, observing and photographing birds
💡 Composition, techniques and lessons from the field
🖼️ Stories behind some of his favourite shots
💬 Open discussion, photo sharing and exchange of ideas
