DOCUMENTING YOUTH, PURPOSE & CHANGE.

Ahead of International Youth Day 2026, I had the privilege of documenting the Training of Trainers (TOT) Community Engagement, Kroo Bay, organised by She for Peace (She4Peace).

Beyond the photographs, this was a powerful gathering of young people engaging on issues that matter—the war on drugs, mental health, waste management, youth empowerment, advocacy, AI, digital transformation and community development.

What stood out was the resilience and commitment of everyone who showed up, shared ideas and continues to believe in creating safer, healthier and more empowered communities.

As a photographer, I believe my responsibility goes beyond the frame. I want to document the people and movements shaping our future and use my work to support stories that deserve to be heard.
Special appreciation to Mariama Sahid , SHE4Peace , the trainers, partners and every participant who continues to show up for change.

The work continues. The conversations continue. And the stories must be told.
