Sarbat Gula _ The sad lifestory the National Geographic green eyed girl.

Made famous by National Geographic cover Sharbat Gula had been for decades one of the most ICONIC portrait of the world.
She became the face of the Afghan war after her green eyes were captured in a photograph taken in a Pakistan refugee camp at the age of 12. The photograph made of Steve Mc curry one of the most known photographer of modern days.

If the '' Green eyed Afghan girl" photograph surely changed life of Steve Mc Curry with notority and millions of dollars. Sharbat Gula made no profit of the picture that made of her the most iconic face of the world. She always struggles with odds of poverty, misery and unsafety.

Sharbat Gula has been arrested end of October and accused of living in Pakistan on fraudulent identity papers following a two-year investigation.

The now mother of four , aged 40, pleaded guilty on Friday and the court sentenced her to 15 days in jail and a 110,000 Pakistani rupee (£841) fine.
