THE LEADERSHIP OF DUK COMMUNITY WOMEN DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION VISITS DUK PADIET AND PAJUT.
The Leadship of Duk Community Women Development Association (DCWDA), led by Chairlady Mama Ayen Johnson Malual, visited conflict-affected communities in Duk Padiet and Pajut to deliver humanitarian support, including essential household utensils. Accompanied by Angok Ayiik and Aguet Bior Ajang for her office, the team aimed to provide both material assistance and emotional support to victims, while assessing their needs.
During the visit, DCWDA called on authorities and stakeholders in Duk County, Jonglei State, and across South Sudan to urgently respond to the communitiesโ challenges. Key needs highlighted include access to education and scholastic materials, improved healthcare servicesโparticularly for pregnant womenโmosquito nets, and additional basic household items such as mattresses, doors, and food supplies.
The association also expressed appreciation to Deng Johnson Malual Foundation for its support in facilitating the outreach.
