UPDATES OF LATE RETIRED MAJ GEN EDWARD LOMUDE EYOBO's FUNERAL

Late's funeral program is as follows

1. A steering committee has be formed today
The committee is comprise of members from national paliament, state paliament, pojulu community and family of late

2. According to the committee the body of late shall be taken from the mortuary to church (All saints cathedral) on Tuesday the 19th of March 2024 for prayers at 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 4:15pm the body of late shall be brought home for viewing and there shall be speeches from some government officials and community leaders after the viewing session

3. On Tuesday evening there's going to be an overnight praise and worship

4. Then on Wednesday the 20th of March 2024 at exactly 8:00pm late's body shall leave Juba to Mukaya his motherland for burial and the burial team shall come back to Juba on either Wednesday or Thursday depending on the burial process

A last funeral prayer of late maj Gen Edward Lomude Eyobo shall be conducted later after Easter season

So far this is the plan of the steering committee together with the family but as the resource mobilization committee is still working on its task there shall be communication from time to time in case there's any change of mind

Breaking:
The government has ordered for the closure of schools with effect from Monday, due to the extreme heat conditions

The closure was announced today in a joint statement from the Ministry of Health and that of General Education and Instruction but makes no mention of how long the closure will last. During the closure of schools, parents are advised to stop their children from playing outdoors. Parents and guardians are also advised to monitor children for signs of exhaustion and heat stroke.
