Manila, Philippines — On the last day, they were asked to leave the room.

Not because anything had gone wrong. Because another group needed the space, and the young people at the front — praying, weeping, worshipping — showed no sign of moving. From 26 July to 2 August 2026, twenty-nine young adults and leaders from nine nations gathered in Manila for ARROWS, part of The Cause movement and the first mission immersion of its kind organized by Nazarene Missions Mobilization Asia-Pacific. They came from Fiji, Myanmar, Australia, Papua New Guinea, South Korea, the Philippines, Indonesia, the United States, and Brazil. They left as arrows. Read more: https://bit.ly/4zu58Bt

The Southeast Asia Orality and Storytelling Workshop brought together 26 participants from across Southeast Asia for four meaningful days of learning, fellowship, and ministry, united by a shared desire to communicate God’s Word effectively through storytelling.
The workshop was made possible through the support and partnership of Southeast Asia Jesus Film, reflecting a shared commitment to equipping leaders for evangelism and discipleship across the region.
Dr. Ray Neu, “The Story Doctor,” served as Guest Lead Facilitator, equipping participants through engaging teaching, practical storytelling exercises, and valuable feedback. The workshop emphasized how orality and storytelling can strengthen evangelism, discipleship, and church planting by helping people hear, remember, and share God’s truth.
The four-day gathering provided opportunities for participants to learn, practice, share, and encourage one another while developing practical storytelling skills for ministry.
The organizers express their appreciation to Dr. Ray Neu, Ms. Aggie Muaror, the facilitators, support team, participants, prayer partners, and Southeast Asia Jesus Film for their partnership in making the workshop possible.
