There’s a cafe with food at the museum if anyone wants to eat or grab a drink before we meet.

We’ll walk, shoot, and explore the Rama 4 to Sukhumvit area, then head up for drinks and good views at the Sukhumvit Studio rooftop.

Walking home from work to avoid the Friday rush hour with my new toy, the Fujifilm X Half.

First impression: It’s so small and tiny and very light weight. People complain about the lag but this isn’t the kind of camera you’re shooting 30 fps with. People seem to also have issues with it lacking custom settings, or RAW capabilities, or other embellishments you expect in a Fujifilm digital camera but this also isn’t supposed to be your main gear. Yes it’s pricey for a casual carry so only get it if there’s a deal (I got it on the 9.9 sale day).

Downsides: You can’t combine filters and “film stock”. I would love to have on the light leak filter when shooting Classic Chrome for example. The viewfinder is also only for viewing — no frame line, no parallax compensation, no indicators, nothing. Could have been an EVF but I guess that would add more cost to an already pricey toy.

It’s fun. It’s silly. It’s stupid. And that’s the point.
