✨🗣️ CHAMPION'S VOICE: Max Mächler - RC Motorsport 🗣️✨

"Honestly, I'm over the moon about this weekend. Most people know I've spent the last two years mostly on team manager duties rather than racing myself, so I genuinely didn't expect to be fighting for the podium at this EFRA Euros — winning it was beyond what I'd hoped for. Starting from pole was incredibly stressful; it's been a while since I felt that kind of pressure. Turns out I can still handle it. This is title number two for me, eight years after my first one — and now the focus shifts to the World Championship in November."

✨🗣️ CHAMPION'S VOICE: Bruno Coelho RC Driver 🗣️✨

"The race was very positive for me. From the beginning of qualifying, the car felt really good and I had the confidence to push. The level was extremely high, so taking the overall TQ was very important, especially because we knew the finals would be very close.

In Q2, while I was leading, I had a traction roll, and that completely changed our tire strategy. We decided to run Q3 and Q4 on used tires, saving a new set for Q5, which we expected to be the fastest round. Everything went according to plan: the conditions were good, I was able to put together a strong run, and we secured the overall TQ.

In A1, everything went smoothly. The car was very good, I was able to control the race from the front and take the win.

Unfortunately, before A2, we had an issue during the voltage check. The battery measured 8.42 volts, which was over the permitted limit, so I was disqualified and could not start the final. It was very difficult to understand because, with the charging settings we used, that value should not have been possible. We were also not the only ones to notice something unusual, after talking with Alex (Alexander Hagberg) he said his battery showed a higher voltage than normal as well. Unfortunately, I was the one who exceeded the limit and was disqualified. It was a big shock and suddenly made A3 the deciding race.

At that point, I just tried to stay calm, put everything behind me and focus on doing the job one more time. The car felt great again in A3, and I had a close battle with Simon Lauter - RC on throughout the final. Going into the last lap, it was only the two of us fighting at the front, so I already knew that the overall victory was secured. That was a huge relief, and from there it became a final battle with Simon all the way to the finish line.

I am extremely happy with this result. The car was strong throughout the entire week, and winning the EFRA European Championship after everything that happened made it even more special. It shows the incredible work we have been doing together with the entire Inf1nityofficial team."

“Before this warm-up race, I’d heard that Europe was basically turning into a giant pizza oven — serious heatwave vibes. On a high-speed track like this, with that kind of heat, both drivers and motors would be easily overheated. But lucky for us, the past couple of days have been surprisingly chill — temperature-wise, at least — so everything’s been smooth sailing so far. And guess what? Tons of HOBBYWING users have shown up, and almost all of our factory drivers are here too, which means we can get a solid setup dialed in fast and share it with everyone. Honestly, I couldn’t ask for more — big thanks to all of you!”

✨🗣️ DRIVER’S VOICE: Olivier Bultynck 🗣️✨

"Always happy to go Luxembourg, one of my all time favourite tracks in the world.
It was a challenge with a brand new tire to find the sweetspot but with the great teamwork we worked it out.

Qualy went well for the team with a 1-2-3-4 in Spec and 2-3-6 in Mod. Finals in Spec went well for the team with the same 1-2-3-4 finish in Spec and a 2-4-10 finish for the Mod team after some rough finals.

All in all a positive weekend for the team and personal a great feeling towards the EC in 4weeks! Can't wait to go back to Luxembourg."

✨🗣️ DRIVER’S VOICE: Bruno Coelho RC Driver 🗣️✨

"Overall, the weekend went really well. From the moment we arrived, the car felt very good, and we didn’t need to make any major setup changes. We ran exactly the same setup as the previous race, which shows that our baseline is already working really well.

Qualifying also went very well. I won the first and second qualifiers. In the third, we were on old tires and decided to try something different, and then we went back on new tires again for the fourth qualifier managing to win it.

For the first A final, we didn’t make any changes to the car. Surprisingly, the balance changed quite a lot, and the car became much looser with noticeably less overall traction. I had a great battle with Simon Lauter - RC throughout the race. It was really close, and in the end he was faster, managed to pass me, and I finished second.

Before A2, we made some setup changes to try to generate more traction. It was another great race with Simon, with a close fight all the way to the finish line. We crossed the loop almost side by side, which made it another exciting final. The car was definitely better than in A1, although we still felt there was more performance to find.

For A3, we made a much more aggressive setup change to maximize traction, and it worked really well. From the first couple of laps I immediately felt much more confident, and the car was clearly better. It was a shame that Simon spun after only a couple of laps because I think it would have been another really exciting battle until the end.

Overall, I’m very happy with the performance. The fact that we’ve been running almost exactly the same baseline setup over the last few races is a really positive sign. Happy with the result and looking forward for the Euros here."
