Street_Photography_4. The first lookbook is captured.

To begin with.. Yesterday I picked up a new lense 135mm 2.0 Zeiss, which is long and pretty hard to use handheld, especially when there is no in-camera stabilizer. Couldn't use it in low light conditions at all. + no autofocus

During my dinner at (check image #2-3 at the carousel) I found 12mm in my bag which is handy in interior photography and I never tried it in “to-go” mode. Surprisingly it appeared to be so awesome and I could capture the space like never before during my street photography sessions. Great rule - “work with what you have” comes into force from now.

Besides that, currently I'm working on post-production of my first lookbook (finally it happened). Found myself between tons of doubts, coz I shot a model and my photos appeared to be too dedicated to her. While the plan was different - to emphasise the product (glasses) and to touch the urban genre. Moreover, the plan was to make the look as natural as I could, but god damn it, I don't find the result to look natural at all. Skin tones went funky coz we shoot in low light and it's the most crucial aspect for asian girl - had to provide raw photos to compensate for it.

It’s tiring, but I picked up a lot of education this week. Eventually it’s gonna work!!!! I’ll post and update the rest tomorrow.

Completed a photoset for 2-bedroom apartment aribnb listing. Implemented some color techniques that I learn for the past year to save yellow-ish colors that destruct white balance and tones, and its almost impossible to choose the right settings in camera to capture it correctly. As a result, recently I start working with desaturation a lot, as I believe its the only one way to save realistic colors at interior shootings.

Especially when you start your exposure from the window, that is required to save the view and the rest of picture is underexposed a lot. You can see the "before" and "after section"
