In the Sacred Name of All the Mothers of the World
The name of her mother, who is my mother, was Aylar.
Throughout all my years of creating and designing, I have never found a source of inspiration more profound or more authentic than the culture, history, and heritage of my homeland. This time, however, that inspiration reaches even deeper—into memory, love, and my roots.
AYLAR is more than a collection. It is a story of splendor and sorrow, of resilience and love. It is inspired by Quchan—a city whose history is woven with both pain and beauty, and whose identity has been shaped by countless untold stories. Perhaps the true spirit of our homeland lies in the beauty that has emerged from sorrow and suffering.
Part of our inspiration for this collection is the tragic story of the girls of Quchan, who, at a point in the history of that city, were kidnapped, sold, and taken into captivity.
The roots of this story lead to a woman I never had the chance to meet—my grandmother, Aylar. Yet through my mother's stories, her values, and her love, I have come to know the strength of her spirit and the authenticity of her character. To me, her name is more than a name; it is a legacy of womanhood, resilience, and love.
This collection is a tribute to her, to my mother, and to all the mothers whose quiet strength has been the enduring foundation of generations.
Every look in AYLAR is a chapter of this story—a narrative brought to life through fabric, silhouettes, colors, and the silent language of every detail.
