Located in the historic Fener district of Istanbul, the Phanar Greek Orthodox College stands out with its striking architecture and deep-rooted history. Originally founded in 1454, it is one of the few institutions that have continued to provide education since the Ottoman era. The current red-brick building, often referred to as the “Red Castle,” was constructed in 1881 by architect Dimadis.
