Seville is one of those cities that gets better the more you walk around. Every corner feels different, from the view at Setas de Sevilla to the quiet courtyards of the Real Alcázar and the incredible details of the Cathedral.
We stayed at Radisson Collection Hotel, Magdalena Plaza Sevilla, and it was a great base for exploring the city on foot.
One of my favorite meals was at Eneko Basque Sevilla by three-Michelin-starred Chef Eneko Atxa. Beautifully presented, full of flavor, and definitely one of the highlights of the trip.
As the sun started to set, Plaza de España became even more beautiful. Climbing to the top of the Cathedral was also worth it for the view over the rooftops of Seville.
And of course, the food. Pimientos de Padrón, jamón ibérico, croquetas, salmorejo and plenty of tinto de verano. One of our favorite lunches was at Gusto, right across from the Cathedral, where we had one of the best paellas of the trip.
Before leaving, we crossed Pasarela de la Cartuja and spent some time by the Guadalquivir. A simple walk, a quiet view, and a nice way to end our time in Seville.
