Some places don’t just show you a view, they make you feel time. 🎈
I captured this moment in Cappadocia while a hot air balloon floated quietly above ancient rock formations. Homes carved into stone centuries ago remain still, while the sky continues to move.

The light was soft, the air was calm, and everything felt balanced for a brief moment. That quiet balance is what I wanted to preserve in this photograph.

Some places are beautiful… and some places are yours. 🇹🇷
This is Suçıkan Park in Dinar, Afyonkarahisar—my hometown. I photographed it in August 2012, holding my breath for that quiet second when the fountain rises and the lake turns into a mirror. 

But this frame carries more than calm. When I was six, on October 1, 1995, Dinar was shaken by a devastating earthquake—months in cold tents, so much lost… and somehow, we kept going. That’s why this image feels like resilience, not just scenery.

I photographed it in summer when the garden was in bloom, and the flowers softened the whole scene—the kind of contrast I love: delicate color in front of centuries of history.
