When I first saw Lisa’s place,
even though it wasn’t in the city center,
I just knew—
this is it.
This is where I want to stay in Paris.
There was no logic behind it,
just a quiet certainty.
A few days later,
we were no longer just host and guest.
We became friends.
Lisa paints in a way that feels very honest—
like she’s not trying to prove anything,
just letting something move through her.
One evening, we went to a small bar near the Louvre.
We sat outside,
looking at the glass pyramid,
the garden,
and that small triumphal arch in between,
just talking.
About art,
about life,
about the strange ways people find each other.
Paris, to me,
was never only about the places.
It was about moments like this—
unexpected, alive, and real.
And at the end, she painted me.
I captured her in her focus,
and she drew my soul in return.
She chose a blue that felt like me,
and that became my portrait.
I think that’s just who Lisa is—
she sees people,
and she leaves something of them behind.
