Early season salmon hunters in the Kenai.

So many of you have asked for Alaska expeditions, so here you go!

Rare Planet Expeditions has three trip announcements for Alaska Bear Safaris.

2026 - Sept. 11th -17th - We were able to arrange a special late season trip this year. I currently have 5 spots available. Seth Royal Kroft will be the trip leader on this one. This one will be amazing as we are scheduling several days of float trip rafting in the backcountry as the bears get their fill of salmon before hibernation. DM for more information.

2027 - June 30th - July 5th - Early season bear action will find bears moving into the Sedge Grass and mudflats on the coast as they graze and forage for clams. Great opportunities to see mothers and cubs, early salmon fishing action, and bears in the beautiful, green Sedge Grass. 10 spots available.

2027 - Sept. 7th-13th - This one will be amazing as we are scheduling several days of float trip rafting in the backcountry as the bears get their fill of salmon before hibernation. DM for more information. 10 spots available. DM for info on this trip and our other offerings like Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Botswana, Madagascar, India, Pantanal, Brazil and more.
