The shutters of the first cameras worked so slowly that photographers could not capture fast-moving objects, such as cars. Then they began to use special shutters with movable curtains, and as a result began to receive photos of cars with oval (!) Wheels. The public perceived this not as a defect, but as an artistic feature that emphasizes the speed of cars. Interestingly, in the old Western cartoons, the wheels of cars are also oval, because their creators adopted the manner of depicting high speeds from photographers.

The first photograph of our planet, fully illuminated by the sun, was taken by the crew of the American spacecraft Apollo 17 in 1972. Interestingly, this image, later called "Blue Marble", is used in most modern films if you want to show the view of the Earth from space.
