Bones of an Ancient Giant. Never had time to stop in Slovenia until now, even though I always saw through the window how beautiful this country is. One day and one sunset in the Julian Alps — enough to understand I need to come back.

Кістки стародавнього велетня. Ніколи не вистачало часу на Словенію до цього моменту, хоча завжди бачила у вікно як тут гарно. Це був лише один день і один захід сонця в Юлійських Альпах — достатньо, щоб захотіти повернутися.

Dragon Garden. On the main route to Laguna de los Tres in El Chaltén, near the entrance, there is a small, easily overlooked place. I often returned there, drawn to the dry trees twisted by winds rising from a river valley between the mountain ranges. Here, the air doesn’t just move — it hunts. It rushes through the mountain corridor like a wild force, mercilessly beheading those trees that dare to grow upward, while sparing the ones that bow low and stretch along the ground. A quiet reminder: in this garden, only those who yield survive.

Сад Драконів. На головному маршруті до Лагуни-де-лос-Трес в Ель-Чальтені, біля входу, є маленьке місце, яке легко не помітити. Я часто поверталася туди, ніби притягнута, до сухих дерев, покручених вітрами з долини річки між гірських хребтів. Тут повітря не просто рухається — воно полює, проривається крізь гірський коридор, мов дика сила, і безжально обезголовлює ті дерева, що наважуються тягнутися вгору, залишаючи лише тих, хто вміє схилитися і рости вздовж землі. Наче тихий закон цього саду: виживають ті, хто піддається.

Було так багато підготовки, що я зовсім не встигла анонсувати свою першу фотовиставку тут.

Відкриття відбулося в понеділок, але всі охочі можуть переглянути роботи до 20 лютого включно, у будні з 10:00 до 14:00.

Хоч я була готова до критики від людей, які добре розуміються на мистецтві, але отримала лише теплі слова та підтримку — мене зустріли так, ніби я вдома.

Щиро дякую всім, хто допоміг з організацією, ідеєю та просто був поруч у цьому процесі 💛

Twisted by time.

“It is necessary to clarify the essence of the concept of “paradox”. For example, we tend to think that we see the world more clearly in daylight. This is not so. By day, our vision barely reaches a few dozen kilometers, blocked by clouds and layers of air. But at night… at night we can see the stars — distant by millions of kilometers. In the dark, we see farther, peering through both space and time.”

What a great thought from a book I read “Butterfly of the Stars” Bernard Werber.
