Last Friday night, the Legendary Queen of Congolese and African Rhumba, Mbilia Bell was in Kisumu City, there was a massive show at Victoria Railways Club and the ONLY Kisumu based Band that curtain raised for her?... Joseh Langah and the Wigot African Jazz Band! These guys gave an absolutely great performance! A young and energetic group of musicians playing old generation music with a youthful touch!

The Kisumu Fashion Icon Tan showcase last Saturday on the 6th, presented another great opportunity for the world to see what Kisumu has to offer the Fashion and Music Industry. It is always great to see people turning up and supporting the best of local initiatives... Kudos once again to the organizers.

On the 22nd of April, the Sovereign Fashion Night went down at the Sovereign Hotel. We witnessed the best of designs and trends crafted by designers based right here in Kisumu City. Much gratitude to all who came through on this night; the orgarnisers, models, designers, guests and partners who contributed to the success of this event!
If you missed this, watch out for the next event. Kisumu does have a lot to offer on the runway and to the Fashion Industry. 😀

The Art@Heart Gala last Thursday night at Planet Media presented a great opportunity to see what Kisumu County has to offer in the entertainment industry. We got to see the next generation of entertainers; from dancers to actors to poets, singers, comedians and fashion designers. The crowd was amazing, everything went so well. Big up to Talent Industry and all who took part in the making of this great event!
