Strawberry Bundt cake
This was the second time in many years that I made a Bundt cake. I am used to the basic cake mold so this made me so scared and nervous 😬 but the cake came out perfectly. Then it was time to make the icing, that was the easiest part of it all.The color was breathtaking. I loved how everything worked out at the end.

Garden eggs in Luganda (Ntula).

Garden eggs are a type of eggplant that are used as a food crop in several countries in Africa. They are small, white fruit with a teardrop or roundish shape that are valued for its bitterness. They can be stored for up to three months by letting them dry. The stems and leaves of garden eggs are eaten in some African countries, Garden eggs are used as a less expensive meat substitute because of their spongy texture that allows it to absorb other flavors, similar to meat.

This picture was the very first picture I took concerning food photography. I feel in love with food photography in 2018 when I saw a video of Joanie Simon on YouTube. There was a way she explained all the concepts of food photography that had me thinking what I am doing with my life. I started watching all her photography videos taking down notes, looking up cameras but I didn’t have enough money to buy all the photography equipment I had seen. So I started talking pictures using my phone and they looked good to my at that time 😂. So time came and I had to post the picture (a above) on my Instagram but as I was going to post , I saw all these amazing pictures taken by other photographers. That discouraged me I ended up not posting. Months went by and I met on instagram I asked him lots of questions and he help me push myself to become confident with my work and so I posted my first picture on Instagram which is the popcorn picture with two bowls and popcorn every way.
