Coperate looks nowadays go beyond the traditional suits and neck-ties of regulated government workers. Today the expanding nature of the industrial sector/formal sector has lead to a geometrical increase in the number of young people in gainful employment. It goes with out saying that young people are full of life and will always want to look their best at all times regardless of the financial cost. Young people also invent fashion or copy from their counter-parts in other countries eg Ugandans like copying from south Africans and Nigerians as seen in their TV soaps/movies which is not a bad thing. Young coperate people in Uganda are also receptive to concepts of the fasting emerging fashion houses in kampala and image builders like me This is certainly the case across most African economies. I have noticed over time with amazement that fashion levels of any country collarate with the expanse of the its coperate sector and for sure that explains the paradox when the coperate sector collapsed in the 1980s so did the fashion world!! But during the same time coperate Kenya was growing and so did their fashion world! Its only now that coperate Uganda is rejuvenating and the fashion getting better as well. However, Very often than not besides company regulation the portfolio an individual performs in the coperate world determines the choice of dress code too. Like you know, people in the coperate world form a complex matrix of personalities and each of them wants to express who they are most especially through dress code eg CEOs, MDs, mothers, house wives, singles, student/ interns, managers, husbands, old folks etc. My heart felt view though is that coperate wear can include any attires that can bestow respect, attention and express luxury/status. The ladies want it to be sexy as well which is agreeable kiekiekiekie However, certain garments still don't pass for coperate wear given their cut, color, texture etc. Hair "does" , makeup and accessories also mean alot in this regard for some of them just spoil the coperate looks. In this album am specifically show casing extra ordinary looks coperates can put on depending on their line of coperate business and portfolios they hold in their companies. Am sorry am not putting a finger on what is best for which industry/portfolio but you can pick on an image and we can discuss that on the wall......I pity folks who are obligated to wear coperate uniforms, for their sense of fashion and daily expression of fashion is virtually curtailed permanently! I know how bad it feels especially if the uniform is not classy. I suffered the same back in time when I worked with computer point as a very junior support staff.
