do sometimes occur at these kinds of events, but there are steps you can take to protect yourselves and your loved ones. REGARDLESS of WHAT/WHO one supports, there are some safety measures to keep in mind. If you know there is going to be a protest in your area, 1. Avoid the area if you can 2. Don't show you're against a particular group - try to dress as casually as possible 3. Let the police do their jobs - extract yourself from the situation 4.
