I have more photos than anyone should probably be allowed to own. (Calling me a file hoarder wouldn't be much of an exaggeration.) But every now and then I come across one that reminds me exactly why I love what I do. This one has always been at the top of my favorites.

We hiked a couple of miles through a creek and more sticker than I care to remember to reach a place that held special meaning for their family. Every step was worth it. Spending the day with Sam and Preston for their engagement session was one of those shoots I'll never forget. I've photographed them since, and they still look at each other with the same chemistry and excitement they did the first time I pointed my camera at them.

Well... it's been a while.

If you've noticed I've been a little quiet, you're not wrong. Over the past couple of years, life took me in some unexpected directions, and somewhere along the way I found myself completely burned out. I needed to step away from my camera—not because I stopped loving photography, but because I needed time to reconnect with myself and remember why I fell in love with it in the first place.

Life has a way of teaching us that it's okay to pause and to start again.

I'm happy to say that I'm picking up my camera with a renewed passion and excitement. I'm reopening my calendar for sessions, branding and design. More than ever, I want to capture the genuine moments, the laughter, the connections, and the memories you'll treasure for years to come.

To everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, or patiently waited for my return—thank you. Your kindness has meant more than you know.
