Golden Hour Gatekeeper

A Snowy Egret stands in shallow surf between two weathered wooden pier pilings, bathed in the rich amber glow of golden hour light. The bird is framed perfectly between the dark, barnacle-encrusted posts, its white plumage luminous against the molten-gold water behind it. Neck elegantly curved and alert, the egret appears to survey its shimmering kingdom as waves catch and scatter the last warm light of the day. Water droplets cling to the left piling, adding texture and sparkle to the moody, atmospheric scene. Daytona Beach, Florida
