This was a cell phone photo. On a rainy May day in Toledo, Ohio, I walked through the aviary at the Toledo zoo kicking myself for not having a long lens on my camera. I took this shot of these beautiful birds with my phone and later painted it in Procreate. I was inspired by some of my Texas School instructors who were able to take ordinary images and turn them into extraordinary art. Maybe someday I'll make something wall worthy!

I can't believe I haven't posted this pet portrait yet. This is from last year and is a photo painting of a friend's airedale. I took another class at Texas School this year on how to "paint" in Photoshop and I can't wait to show you my recent work. Stay tuned!
