✨Client Spotlight: Dunedin Sports Horses✨

“Where elite sport meets the right partnership. Dunedin sources, develops and places elite sport horses, and the partnerships that bring people into the sport.”

I got to go to Windurra USA this July to capture Team Dunedin in their element. Martha, Hayley and Katie are all superb to work with, and I cannot recommend this program or their sourced horses enough.

Our day included:
8 horses ridden and photographed 🦄
100 degree weather 🥵
Unlimited cookies
At least 3 shoulder-shimmys 💫
1 pair of light pink shoes turned black 🥲
Over 250 video clips (yes, I have a problem) 🎥
And countless memories made!

✨MODEL CALL for Fall 2026✨

Calling all horse girls!! Heart Horse Media is looking for a few different horse & rider models! I have a few tricks up my sleeve and need your help building the portfolio to go along with said tricks 👀

What this is:
-A styled photo session with Heart Horse Media for portfolio building and marketing purposes (no session fees!)
-A chance to exchange your time for a select number of high resolution digital images
-A fun and safe experience for you, your horse, and your barn friends!

Here’s what I’m looking for….

📍Location: Ideally within 1.5 hours of Bethesda, MD (travel fee may apply for sessions outside of this radius)

📆Dates: Scheduling for month of October!

1️⃣ SESSION 1 - Boarding & Training/Lesson Stable

Requirements include:

•1 main trainer or multiple trainers on site
•Large grassy fields
•Barn with a clean and clear aisle way
•Clean and organized tack room
•Arena (bonus points for a pretty indoor)
•Multiple horses available for riding footage (both flat and jump; bonus points for XC ability)
•Students willing to be photographed in lesson format
•Extra bonus points for cute farm dogs

2️⃣ SESSION 2 - Barn Friends!

Requirements include:

•A group of friends that ride at the same barn (yes, you must *actually* be friends)
•At least 3 riders together; no more than 6
•2+ horses available for session
•Riding required - walk only
•Barn must have access to an arena, tack room or lounge, and fields or trails
•Willingness to share your riding story/friendship tales in testimonials for marketing purposes

BOTH sessions require well behaved and clean horses, and riders that are comfortable being in front of the camera (with direction) for both photo and video footage! Outfits and style to be discussed upon scheduling!

🩵 Special Horses Series 🤎

Happy 8th Gotcha Day, Sailor…you are so missed 🫶

Sailor was my first “big girl” purchase after expanding my training business back in 2018 and while it was definitely an impulsive purchase, it was one that brought a lot of love into my life.

He had just finished up his racing career in New York when I bought him off a video. He shipped down to my farm in Maryland a day later and a few days after that we gelded him. Yep, he was a stallion when I bought him 😂

Sailor or “Life Changes” was so affectionate, gentle, and silly. He was always good for a hug, really enjoyed his sunset walks, and his favorite friend was my 60 pound pittie mix, Callie.

Owning Sailor will go down as one of my favorite adventures and one of my more ridiculous stories. I can’t say I would recommend buying a horse in the way I did him, but ultimately, he taught me a lot and was a fantastic friend before he found his next person.

Sailor was a giant love-bug and I am very grateful to have had him be such a big part of my life. I miss him very much and I hope that he is happily eating some grass side by side with his BFF Callie in pony heaven🩵

Celebrating jb creighton 7 year Anniversary 🥳🥳

Huge congratulations to Julia and j.b.creighton for hitting this huge business milestone! Julia’s boutique has a curated selection of top fashion pieces for every equestrian, both functional and beautiful. Not only does she have a keen eye for what you’ll look good in, but she is always on top of the trends and brings in some of the newest pieces on the market.

Julia is top tier in her field, yes, but (and maybe more importantly) she has also created a fun, loyal, and supportive community of horse lovers. I consider Julia a dear friend, and she is one of the first people I run to when I need advice, personally or professionally. She always tells it like it is, and does all her business with a smile on her face. Anyone that knows Julia knows how fiercely loyal and joyful she is, and we all know how lucky we are to have her as a staple in our lives.

I’ve been fortunate enough to be both a customer at j.b.creighton and a business partner. This post has a collection of photos that I’ve taken for her brand, but it also has a smattering of photos of myself in my jbc gear. You will see me sporting something from Julia multiple times a week, and you can catch the sparkly baseball keychain from jbc on my key ring always.

National Dog Day is for “The Barn Dog” 🐶

This one is for all the faithful barn dogs who graze alongside their larger four legged friends, patiently wait in the car or trailer for us pretty much everywhere, walk every step of our XC courses with us, and so much more...

The barn wouldn’t be the same without them🩵
