One of my biggest goals as a mom is to raise kids who have a healthy relationship with their bodies, not built on restriction, punishment, or chasing a certain look.
So when they ask why I do what I do, I try to be really intentional about how I answer.
The walk isn’t about burning calories. The workout isn’t about getting smaller. The food tracking isn’t about eating less.
It’s about building a body I can live fully inside of, for a long time.
I want them to grow up knowing that taking care of yourself is an act of respect, not punishment. That strong is empowering. That food is fuel.
