My 2023 recap, as in posting my Christmas card on January 20th. + adding my heart and words from my stories this week. My biggest advice is to pick a photographer who just gets it. 🫶🏻 this isn’t for the faint of heart. The ones laying it all on the line to be the next gen of the feedlot, ranch, farm….small town love stories matter just as much as the fancy venue weddings you see in magazines.
Is it an investment? Absolutely.
But you get my whole heart on your best day. I joyfully serve. The details matter. The cattle matter. The land matters. I’ll never take it lightly when someone trusts me with something so big. 5 years later and I still get a sick rush from weddings days. It’s 8-12 hours of nonstop go for photogs and I love it. The most important thing to me is that you can be 100% present, soak everything in, and just be at EASE. I’ll handle the cake smeared on the dance floor, your dress that needs bustled, the rowdy groomsmen, missing uncle ed….you get it.
My heart’s in this because my heart is this. My husband and I are back on his family’s feedlot, have been busy growing our cowherd and a family here in the northern Nebraska Sandhills.
