As usual… I barely post on social media 🤍
Which means I haven’t shared much of my work this year at all.

So I wanted to take a moment to look back on some of the amazing people I had the honor of working with throughout the 2025. Even in a season where photography took a step back, the moments I did get to capture meant everything to me.

This year looked different. After having my baby, I significantly scaled back photography, and my availability just wasn’t what it used to be. I’m so grateful to everyone who gave me grace, understanding, and patience during this season of life.

I also want to thank my incredible photography partners who took on every referral I had this year and cared so deeply for my clients loving on them the way I would have. That meant more to me than you know.

I truly love every opportunity I get to be creative and capture memories. I wish I could do it more and I’m hopeful that in 2026, I’ll be able to offer this more to those who reach out.

Thank you to everyone who trusted me, supported me, and allowed me to create, even in a quieter year. Cheers to new seasons, growing families, and more moments worth remembering ✨

As 2024 comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to share a little recap of my year through the lens! 📸 Here’s a photo from most of my sessions this year as a way to reflect on the memories and milestones I’ve been lucky enough to capture.

If you know me, you know I’ve been terrible at keeping up with social media (working on it, I promise!). My goal for 2025 is to be better about sharing these amazing moments I get to be apart of.

Hi!!! I’m Kristi Watson, owner and photographer at Power Photography, based in Akron, Ohio. Since my last post, I’ve welcomed my new baby boy Harvey, and it’s been such a joy to settle into this new chapter! With many new faces here, I thought it would be the perfect time to reintroduce myself and share a bit more about me.

Alongside Power Photography, I’m also the Executive Director of The JADFA House, a role that’s a major focus for me in this season of life, along with being a mom. And wife and trusty sidekick to Just A Dad From Akron. It’s a balancing act, but I’m happy to say I’ve back to booking sessions on a small scale. I genuinely love capturing memories with photos and wish I could do it every day.

Hi Everyone! 👋

I thought I’d make a post since it’s been awhile… As many of my friends/clients know I wear many hats outside of just being a photographer. I’m so blessed that my life offers me such a variety of ways to feel fulfilled. While photography is one of them I have been working hard on some new projects that require a lot of time and focus and thus Power Photography has taken a back seat to that.

Don’t worry I’m not quitting! Moving forward I’ll be a little more selective of how much I can take on, but I still look forward to capturing memories just as I always have. I will be taking some time off until the spring season hits but please don’t hesitate to reach out to discuss your future sessions! 🌸

A couple weeks ago I have the honor of capturing Hope Recovery Community's Ride for Recovery Event! This was my second year attending this event and I already can't wait for next year.

The highlight of my day was hearing "who knew you could have this much fun sober"! It's always such a blessing to be deeply connected to the recovery community.
