What a truly magical year!

We moved to a new state away from family and friends.

We got annually Disney world passes so we could spend our weekend with Mickey.

Started a new job at Bayside Community Church with the best team!

Watched our niece grow up a little and welcomed a new niece into the world. ♥️

Visited California and the Golden State Bridge.

Saw the Oregon coast.

Learned how to sail!

We went to Hawaii. Where I marked off my 50th state!

We set our sights on international travel and were able to mark off both Germany and Ireland!

When looking back on all 2024 gave us. I am blown away by the memories and the moments that we had. I can not believe the places and the adventures I get to have. I can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store for us.

One Reason Couples Do Not Want to Elope

One of the biggest reasons I hear people say they do not want to elope is because their family and friends cannot be with them. Well, I am here to say that is not true.

You can make your elopement as unique as you want it to be. Imagine a stunning location: you are standing in a grassy meadow, with huge snow-capped mountains in the background, and your closest friends and family around you. When you look out towards your family, you see smiles full of love directed at you. You can still get all the things you want and more if you elope!

Eloping isn’t just for two people who want to run away and get married anymore. Family and friends can come too! There are locations all over the country that can accommodate large gatherings. We work with all of our couples to find the perfect location. We make sure that if family is important to you, and you want them to be by your side, we help you find the location that fulfills your dreams.

When you look back on your wedding day, you do not want to have regrets. You want to look back on your special day and say, “I did it all!” “Everything was exactly how I wanted it to look and feel, and I was able to experience it with those who were most important in my life.”

In The Waiting

What to do while you are waiting for that YES from God.

Waiting can be hard. If you are anything like me, you are not that patient. You like to know everything right then and there. You are so excited to see what is going to happen and just want to get on with it. So excited you cannot wait any longer.

The season of life where you are waiting and waiting for that final YES from God. The yes that tells you it is time. It’s finally time for you to move forward. I feel that I have been waiting for over two years now. I am still waiting. But while I have been waiting, I have grown so much in my relationship with the Lord. It has become so much richer than I would have.

I have spent time during the waiting; reading my bible more, prayer journaling (which I love doing now), doing women bible studies, reading books that are specifically for growing in faith and praying more. But not just more, but more purposefully. It is crazy how much I have already felt while doing this.

Now, I am still waiting for my Yes, like I said before. And not everyday are rainbows and butterflies. But I do realize why I am in the season of life. And I know once I get that yes from God, it will be at the perfect time, it will be right when I am ready and He knows when that will be. It will be way better than I could have ever imagined, if He would’ve said yes the first time I asked. So for now I am going to continue to do what has worked for me.
