Had a great time judging the photography submissions for the Dwight J. Dennis Memorial Exhibition & Competition at the Stanly Arts Guild this morning! So many great entries - it was definitely a challenging task! Places and Honorable Mentions have been chosen, but I would have loved to have been able to hang a ribbon on every singe one!! The Exhibition is open to the public from April 20th through May 14th. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and take a look at all the talent featured! Oh! And while you’re at it…Mother’s Day is around the corner, so now would be the perfect time to plan ahead and pick out something beautiful that mom is sure to love! Snow is almost gone, but I did manage to get enough for snow cream. 😁 Even better with sprinkles!! Unfortunately, I keep forgetting that my shoes are too short for slogging in the snow…and we don’t get enough snow to invest in boots that I won’t wear any other time. 😕 Maybe I need to start saving bread bags…anyone else’s grandma put bread bags over your shoes and pant legs when you went out to play in the snow? Just me? Okay… 🤣 🙃
