Dear Mamas,
Today I am here to remind you that I see you! I see the hard work you put into coordinating the perfect outfits for your family photos. I see the anxiety you feel when you bring me your 7 day old fresh babe and are terrified they will scream the entire time and you will end up with zero photos. I see the messy bun and dirty shirt when you roll in 10 minutes late with a half smushed cake and 15 balloons crammed into trash bags for your baby’s first birthday photos. I see your child lick you on the cheek when you simply asked for a kiss. I see your toddler forward rolling across the floor when you just want them to walk over to you. I see your teen roll their eyes because they are too cool for family photos. I see the extra sass you have when you curl your hair and feel pretty for the first time in weeks. I see the messy, the chaos and the beauty of it all. I am in awe of all of you and just want to remind you that even though some days you’re barely holding on….you’re doing an amazing job! You bring me your raw crazy family and children and together we make magic! I am honored to witness all of these things and the beauty that each phase of motherhood possesses. Please know that when you come to me you’re in a safe place. I too ride around town on the struggle bus crazy train and do not have my life together. Together though-we laugh, we have fun and most importantly we make memories. So thank you for allowing me into your lives & being here through my journey of motherhood too.
