6.3.26 I ride around in my electric golf cart to see what wildlife I might find. The golf cart tends to keep me hidden as the animals don't "see" me. On this day a red fox decided to walk right past me rather quickly, and I thought fine, I'll take your picture. He appears to be a bit thin but healthy and beautiful. Click follow for more!

For those of you who have been following my posts, you know I put an egg out for crows. Well this crow surprised me. He took the egg and proceeded to bury it under leaves and then he came back later for it. This picture is him after burying the egg in the leaves. I think he was hiding it from the other crows! Crows are very intelligent. I now see crows come together, but I also at times see a single crow in my yard. He may be the main crow coming for the eggs. I also have mealworms out that they eat as well as does every other animal. Everything likes the mealworms. I think that is why I had 2 blue bird families nesting in boxes in the driveway this year as they love mealworms. I believe both bluebird families have fledged.

The Red-Shouldered Hawk babies are growing! One of them looks bigger and more developed than the other. They have grown a great deal in 17 days from 5/17/26 to 6/3/26. Look at the last picture in this series showing the little white fluffy head from 17 days ago that was posted previously. Look at the first picture and you can see the 2nd larger baby in the background. It's a bit harder to get pictures now with the leaves more developed in the trees, but they are more easily seen since they have grown.
