If you were to ask me what sets me apart, as your wedding photographer; it wouldn’t be the amount of experience I have. The places I’ve been. The price tag on my gear. How quickly I can get you your photos back. All of those things do hold value from the business standpoint. But I would hope that it would be how intentional I approach every couple I meet. How highly I honor the covenant of marriage in the eyes of God. When your family and friends lift their hands to pray over you, I join in. Before I even get to your venue, I invite the Holy Spirit to allow me to see the fingerprints of the divine throughout your day. And when I get home, I cull your photographs one by one, I try my best to consider how each one will make you feel. How close I can bring it back to the moment in time that it was experienced first. I’ve learned that trying to rush what was intended to be cherished is not the way to go for me, personally. I’m the photographer for the client who wants to live presently in the day, cherish their photos for years to come in photo albums and frames, not just instagram.
I never get over how much beauty and glory this calling brings to my life. How uniquely and personal every love can be.
