It hits different when you see it in print. Forty pages that tell a story of not giving up. Of not settling. Of not niching down. Of trusting the quiet voice that kept telling me to create the work that felt true, even when it didn’t fit neatly into someone else’s definition of success. Every photograph carries a piece of the people who trusted me enough to stand in front of my camera. Every page represents years of showing up, choosing growth over comfort, and believing that authenticity would always outlast trends. As I turned each page, I didn’t just see photographs, I saw conversations, early mornings, late nights, long drives, laughter, tears, families growing, a business being built, small victories that became big ones. I saw the privilege of being invited into so many lives. This feature may have my name on it, but this story has never been mine alone. It belongs to every client who believed in me before the awards, before the recognition, and before anyone else was paying attention. It belongs to every person who allowed themselves to be seen, trusted my vision, and gave me the incredible honor of preserving a piece of their story. My heart is simply full. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that the most meaningful success isn’t measured by the pages you’re printed on, it’s measured by the people who made those pages possible. Thank you so much National Association of Portrait & Child Photographers 🤍🤍🤍
