This session unexpectedly brought ALL the feels. 🥹

While photographing Danni in her traditional clothing, I found myself thinking about my grandma and the memories I have of her and how deeply rooted she was in her culture. Then, as I was posing Danni with one of the pottery pieces, her mom mentioned how much it reminded her of an old photo of one of their grandma.

And suddenly we were all in our feelings. 🥹

That’s the thing about photographs. Sometimes you’re creating something new, and somehow it takes you right back to a memory of someone you love.

I think that’s what makes these images of Danni so special to me. They’re beautiful, yes, but there’s also culture, family, memories and generations woven into them. And one day, these photographs will be part of her family’s memories too. 🤎

🍂 Fall senior sessions just hit different. 🍂

There’s a reason fall is one of the MOST requested seasons for senior pictures. The weather finally cools down, the outfits get cuter, and New Mexico starts showing off with those gorgeous golden tones. 🤎

Think boots, denim, cozy layers, warm sunsets, changing leaves… basically everything we love about fall wrapped into your senior session.

And here’s the part I need my Class of 2027 seniors + moms to know: that dreamy fall look has a VERY short window. 🍁 Once those colors arrive, they don’t stick around long and those dates tend to go FAST.

So if fall senior pictures have been sitting on your Pinterest board, don’t wait until the leaves start changing to get on my calendar. 😉

Okayyyy Gwyn!! 😍 This entire session was just pretty.

The white dress + red boots, that blue floral dress by the fountain, and then ending the night with her letterman jacket?! Such a perfect mix of sweet, fun, and SENIOR. 🥹

And can we talk about this time of year for senior pictures?! 👀 We still have all that gorgeous summer green, the prettiest golden light, AND those first little hints of fall starting to show up.

It’s honestly one of my favorite transitions to photograph because every week starts looking just a little different. 🍂✨

AJANAE 🌿✨ | Class of 2027

Another one of my beautiful AMP girls in front of my camera! 🥹🫶🏻

Ajanae’s Botanical Garden session was just pretty from beginning to end. The greenery, the waterfall, that gorgeous maroon dress… and of course, AJANAE. 😍 She seriously has the sweetest smile and made every little corner of the gardens look AMAZING.

Then we switched things up with the cutest casual look, and I love how much variety we were able to get in one session. From soft + romantic to fun + effortless—this girl can do BOTH.

Ajanae, you are absolutely beautiful, sweet girl! I hope you love your little sneak peek as much as I do. 🥹✨

And of course these three needed a post of their own. 🥹

One last year in the uniform. One last season cheering side by side. One last round of Friday nights, practices, bows, poms and all the memories that come with being a cheerleader.

Class of 2027, this is YOUR year, girls! 🎓✨

I absolutely loved getting to capture these three together before senior year really gets rolling. I have a feeling it’s going to fly by way too fast.

Kinda Chic To… plan ahead for FALL. 🍂🤎

Because here’s the thing about fall senior photos… everyone wants them once the leaves start changing. 👀 And by then? The AMP’s already booked up.

Fall colors in New Mexico are beautiful, but QUICK. We get this tiny little window of golden trees, warm tones and all that cozy fall goodness and then just like that, the leaves are gone. 🍁

So if you’ve been dreaming about senior photos with golden leaves, boots, cute layers, rich fall colors and those gorgeous Sandia maintain views… don’t wait until October to start planning an October session with AMP.
