Sadie & Jay’s sunny autumn wedding at Becker Farms was full of all the good stuff: happy tears, big laughs, a wedding party that knew how to party, and a lot of time on the dance floor! 🍂

As improv partners and fellow jokesters, these two know how to have fun together - and that energy carried through their entire day! They laughed, danced, soaked up traditions old and new, and most importantly, got to spend the whole day simply enjoying being together!

The final chapter of this fairytale. ✨

Surrounded by the historic beauty of Sonnenberg Gardens, every detail of this shoot was thoughtfully chosen to tell the same story. From the groom’s rich brown tweed suit and vintage-inspired accessories to the bride’s ethereal gown, delicate veil, and romantic hair and makeup, each element came together to create a vision rooted in old-world romance, enchantment, and a little bit of magic.

I hope these images inspire couples to embrace the details that make their wedding day feel uniquely theirs — to choose the things that speak to their story, lean into a little whimsy, and never be afraid to add a touch of magic. 🤍

Every detail of this shoot was designed to feel romantic and enchanting.✨

One of my favorite elements was this incredible drapery installation by Danielle at vintageglamdrapery . Layers of flowing fabric, hand-crafted sculptural florals made entirely from fabric, and layers of texture that made the whole scene feel like art.

Another element I wanted to incorporate was the ritual of hand-fasting. It’s a meaningful and adaptable gesture couples can include in their wedding ceremony. It can be a non-denominational and deeply personal symbolization of unity.

An Old-World Romance ✨

A vision that lived in my head for months finally came to life. I wanted to create something that felt like stepping into another time — where love letters were written by candlelight, gardens were wild, and every little detail felt like it belonged in a storybook.

This shoot was inspired by historic spaces, timeless romance, and the kind of fairytale love that feels like it could exist in any era.

A snowy January wedding in Buffalo was exactly what Casey & TJ had envisioned, and somehow the weather delivered! The Barrel Factory was the perfect warm and intimate backdrop for such a heartfelt celebration. One of my favorite parts of the day was how much time they intentionally set aside for portraits, giving us the chance to capture so many different moments together. And Casey’s reception outfit change? She absolutely owned the dance floor. So much love for these two! 🩵
