I’m currently producing a brand film for a local middle school, and during the process, I handed the camera to one student.

Not to hold.
Not to pose with.
To film.

I let him capture b-roll. Frame shots. See what storytelling looks like from behind the lens.

And something changed.

You could see the shift from curiosity… to ownership.

That’s the part people don’t see about creative work. It’s not just about capturing moments. It’s about creating opportunities.

If we want confident creators tomorrow, we have to trust them with responsibility today.

This project meant more than just a deliverable.

It was an investment.
