It’s been quite a journey filming weddings over the years—and now, I’m stepping into a new chapter.

I’m Sony, a wedding videographer who found his craft in New York and now calls the DMV home. After years of telling love stories from behind the camera, I’ve launched the SVC FILMS podcast—a new way to share stories, experiences, and everything I’ve learned along the way.

I film up to 25 weddings each year, creating films that go beyond visuals—films that connect couples to how their day truly felt, and keep their love alive for years to come.

We’re feeling beyond grateful and excited to finally share some big news from our family! 💫

We’ve been a little quiet lately as we took time to settle into the most beautiful surprise of 2025… but now it’s time to let our friends and family in on the joy:

We’re expecting baby number 3 — and she’s a GIRL! 💕👶

After two fearless, high-energy boys who keep us on our toes, we’re over the moon to welcome a little sweetness into the mix this summer.

Mama’s doing amazing (even though she might say otherwise 😅) — the bump is officially stealing the spotlight, and while she’s been feeling lots of aches and pains, I’ve been giving enough massages to consider going pro.

We can’t wait to meet our little girl and are so thankful for this next chapter in our lives.

“Time of My Life” – A New Chapter for SVC 🎥✨

I have no idea why I’m calling it that—but here we are! 😎 This new chapter is all about sharing key insights on weddings to help future clients and anyone out there wondering whether to book a wedding vendor. I’ll be diving into the importance of our roles—not just for weddings, but for any major event.

Capturing an important event isn’t just about film or photography. Even for a small gathering, at least five vendors work behind the scenes to make everything run smoothly and stress-free.

Knowledge is power, and trust is everything. When you have experienced professionals handling your event, you can enjoy peace of mind, knowing that every important moment is being captured. And let’s not forget—a great event planner is key to a seamless celebration!

Matt and Gabriella tied the knot at the beautiful 1757 Golf Club, where we had the honor of capturing their love story in front of their friends and family. Their story was truly unique, filled with emotion and joyful tears.

We’re just happy to meet our couples and celebrate alongside them, capturing the most significant and entertaining moments of their lives. All they need to do is have fun and share their vows with each other—that’s what we’re all about.
