It officially the longest I have ever gone without posting, so let's talk about it!

I am already bad at posting, it is just a fact. Almost 10 years in to being a professional newborn photographer, 3 kids and a few side hobbies later, I like to keep myself busy. Now, I thought about just posting a photo with a cutie little caption and going on about my work day but I think that would be a little disingenuous of me to act like being busy is the only reason I have only been absent from posting.

So here is the deal. The last few months have been pretty scary and has really taken a toll on me as a mother and baby photographer. Not only am I in charge of your memories, I am in charge of protecting my clients both in my studio and on social media. I know every bit of what I do is with a pure heart but I would be ignorant to ignore that by posting on social media, I am opening up my business and my innocent baby clients to the entire world and I know the entire world does not have a pure heart.

I haven't seen a single one of these post. Which makes this an even scarier thing to write. But if there is one thing I am, it is loud about what I believe in. And I believe that the only way to keep our babies safe is by being cautious of what we post on social media. With this all being said; Yes, I am still very busy as a newborn photographer. Yes, I still take those sweet, squishy, sometimes naked, newborn images, but you will not be seeing them here.

You trust me with your world and I don't take that lightly. If this post made your stomach turn a little like its made mine writing it, I am so sorry. But I just need to share what's been on my heart for a while. Thank you for trusting me with your babies. It is not a job I take lightly and you and your images are safe with me. ❤
