This year’s juror, Chris Gunn, Lead Technical Photographer for the Roman Space Telescope at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, is expected to join us for the reception.

As a part of ’s Studio Lighting II class, we had a variety of visiting photographers showcase their skills and give us the hands-on experience of their particular field through various lighting setups!

For our last guest, we welcomed Will Reintzell!
He specializes in portrait photography, with a focus on environmental & studio photography for individuals and corporations.

During his demonstration, students were able to learn more about how to properly light a subject and how light can impact a person’s expression.

Focusing on headshots, students were able to get a hands on experience on not only how to position the light, but how to direct a model in order to capture the perfect portrait!

Having fun with ambient light!💡
Students in our Studio Lighting II class learn to balance ambient light and strobe light in order to create a well balanced picture! 📸
In this exercise, we experimented with different white balance settings and had fun with color correcting gels! 🌈
