About YardBird
Hi there! My name is Amanda Adams, and I'm the eyes behind YardBird Studio.
Photography has been a passion of mine since youth, but I only started to get serious about it in the early 2000's when I graduated from 35mm film to a point-and-shoot digital camera. Reading books on photography really improved my technical skills, but it was the practice that put my heart into the art of it.
Around the same time that my interest in photography was developing, I was also starting my modeling journey on the other side of the camera. Over the years I have worked with many photographers, all bringing their own unique perspective into our photo shoots, and teaching me different techniques that have improved my ability not only to capture my own vision, but also to help my clients pose properly and feel comfortable in front of the camera.
