What a fun afternoon. I hid behind my giant lens pretending to be a birder, then secretly followed these two to the gazebo just in time to capture the sweetest “YES!”

Best undercover assignment! Photographing proposals is so much fun - - but always be prepared for unexpected surprises.

In this case, we had a jogger going by right at proposal time as well as a very large family enjoying a picnic trying to photo bomb the proposal! 🤪

So I don't normally shoot weddings, but in this case, one of my dearest friends was having her "engagement" party. What no one knew was that it was actually her wedding! She surprised everyone (except me, because she had asked me if I would take a few pictures of the surprise ceremony)!

Of course I said yes! But wedding pictures are scary!! You get one chance at these... And the lighting...oh my! But it was so fun, and I love a good challenge...
