💙 Sometimes the best photos are the ones God places right in front of you. 💙
As I was walking to the Run for the Blue last Saturday, I looked up toward the Trinity levee and saw two officers walking with their K-9 partner as the sun was rising behind the Dallas skyline. I knew instantly there was a special photograph waiting to be captured.
I called up to them and asked if they would slow down for just a moment so I could take the shot. At the time, I had no idea what I would do with the image—I just knew there was something there.
This is the final rendition of the vision God placed on my heart.
Thank You, Father, for allowing me to see the photograph before I ever pressed the shutter.
And to these officers—and all who wear the badge—thank you for walking into danger so the rest of us can walk in peace. Your courage, sacrifice, and service will never be taken for granted.
God bless our law enforcement officers, their K-9 partners, and their families. 💙🇺🇸

This race is about so much more than crossing the finish line. It is a chance for our community to come together to remember, honor, and support the brave officers and families forever impacted by the events of July 7, 2016.
I'll be there bright and early, camera in hand, ready to capture the pride, patriotism, smiles, and meaningful moments that make this event so special. If you see me along the course, don't forget to give me a wave or a smile! 🇺🇸📸
Together, we'll run with purpose, remember with gratitude, and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
