Another reflection of the grandeur of Engelhard.
There are mornings when the water is so still it gives everything back to you.
The boats.
The rigging.
The masts.
The scars of years spent working.
All of it reflected almost perfectly beneath them.
And standing there, you begin to understand why these vessels carry such a presence.
They are not just boats.
They are part of the identity of this place.
They have supported families, carried generations of knowledge, weathered storms, and helped build communities along our coast.
On a quiet morning like this, with the water holding their reflection, they almost seem twice as large.
Maybe that is fitting.
Because their importance to places like Engelhard has always been bigger than the hulls themselves.
