I much prefer backgrounds of blue sky and a few fluffy white clouds. But, these days, you take what you get! In this case, I got lucky that the blah, boring, overcast skies of Northeast Ohio provided a stark contrast for the Heron and its landing point.

An Announcement To The Followers Of This Page!

Some of you may already know this, but I wanted to post an official announcement informing everyone that I have setup my own non-Facebook website. This new website is not a replacement for this page, as I feel it is a complimentary addition. For several years, friends and family have encouraged me to setup a website for my photos. They also suggested that offer some of my pictures for sale. So, after much deliberation, I finally decided it was time to take the plunge!

My new website address is fombellfotography.com. I have 15 photo galleries setup there covering a wide variety pictures of wildlife, waterfalls & historic covered bridges. I invite you to visit it and I hope you find it enjoyable!
