Welcoming a little miracle is nothing short of a breathtaking journey that fills hearts with joy and wonder!🌟 These first few weeks are filled with pure magic as you watch your newborn explore the world for the first time. Every tiny yawn, gentle touch, and sleepy smile is a fleeting moment that deserves to be captured. I’ll be frank… As a kid, I used to think I’d be a pop star when I grew up 🤭, but then I realized I would have to socialize with people at parties, on the red carpet, interviewers, producers, and such and as a major introvert that was not my thing even as much as I love performing. I discovered being behind the camera was far more fitting and I took my camera everywhere. SHOUTOUT to my Kodak Hawkeye (& don’t forget the flashcube) for being my constant companion in the 80’s & 90’s.

I fell in love with creating art in a completely different way, and saw how impactful a photograph can truly be. We’re all constantly rewriting our story, friend, and this is your Monday reminder that you can rewrite your story, too.

And don’t worry, I’m still giving shows. They’re just in my kitchen in my pj’s, instead of on stage these days. 🎤 🎟️

Who’s looking forward to the weekend?! 🍷 🍿 🎥

After a long week designing wedding timelines, client meetings, photographing a beautiful wedding in Door County, and photographing adorable families. I’ll be hanging out in my pj’s on the couch. I’m sure going to need some down time. I’m seeing Pear Cider 🍷, jalapeño 🍿, and spooky season 👻 🎃 movies in our future. And quite honestly I’m feeling nostalgic for a sleep over so I think we might throw some pillows & blankets on the floor, put on our jammies, grab all the snacks, and binge as many kid friendly spooky movies as possible. What’s on Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ right now that we need to see?

As the sun dipped below the tree line, casting a glow over the beach. I watched this sweet family creating memories that would last a lifetime. Children laughing and playing in the sand, their faces lighting up with joy as they searched for the perfect rocks to collect. As I documented these heartwarming moments, I couldn’t help but feel grateful to be able to freeze these precious memories in time. There’s something truly magical about experiencing these simple, yet beautiful moments with families, and being able to preserve them through photography, creating personal artwork for families to display throughout their homes.

New around here? Hey, hey! Allow me to tell you a little about myself. My name is Danielle and I’m a wedding & motherhood photographer who documents genuine, personal, and artful photos for those who value connection and want to fill their homes with custom artwork.

I feel most at home out on the lake or in an orchard. My Zodiac sign is Libra, and I DEFINITELY fit the bill. My favorite day (not sorry, that it’s very fall vibes over here, I live in this space indefinitely) would start with a Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso with 2 extra shots of Apple Brown Sugar (my current obsession), followed by a day of apple picking, enjoying a apple cider spiced donut, and ending with my guilty pleasure, jalapeño popcorn, watching The Good Witch or Hocus Pocus for the 600th millionith time. Although right now, I’m obsessed with ‘s Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Who’s watching and what are your thoughts on Zac or Whit?
