These violent delights 🥀

‘Til Death is our sapphic telling of Romeo + Juliet, inspired by Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 film. The one you didn’t know you needed until now.

This was an editorial after my own heart, dreamt to life by a team of superhumans at a wedding venue that is quite literally to die for. (Althea is also a delicious restaurant with wonderful owners that you can go to any day of the week)

FALL MINIS ARE OPEN ⚡️

We’re heading back to Belmont, but this year we’re wandering into the woods where tall trees drop yellow leaves and the forest path winds down to a babbling brook with the sweetest little wooden bridge.

You know what we’re about. These sessions are a little posed, a little unposed. You’ll get direction when you need it and space when you don’t. The sidewise glance, the belly laughs, the kid who refuses to look at the camera. You’ll walk away with thoughtful family portraits and the real, connected stuff, all in the same 20 minutes.

Summer ending is just another new beginning ☀️ I’m convinced

We’ve been oh-so-quiet since embarking on the slow and steady build-out of Tender Heart | North Shore Photo Studio, bur we’ve been anything but idle.

In between weddings, proposals, engagements and family sessions, we’ve been making Tender Heart our new home. A huge, heartfelt thank you to every one of the happy people we got to celebrate with these past few months 💞

You can reach out about booking a sneak peek session with us at founding rates and see the space before everyone else. It’s already full of treasure we’ve been collecting our entire lives, and there may or may not be Quintin Marcus rugs in there as soon as this week 👀

We’ve got a soft, curvy, sun-drenched lounge ready to go, plus some beautiful built-in features that came with the building. Like original 1800s brickwork with blind arches, aka windows that never were.

If you’re one of the many people thinking, “All that sounds great but it’s not real until I see photos,” that’s facts ☝️

What 2 months w/ a tiny gay pop up photo studio at the hippest mall in Somerville looks like ⚡️

Mike and I are so excited to announce that bookings for Tender Heart | North Shore Photo Studio are open while we continue to build out the space for gatherings, rentals, and more.

It’s about damn time we got our picture taken⚡️

Thank you Addie Roberge Photography for crushing it in 20 minutes at the immense and gorgeous New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill 🤘🪴

We actually really love getting our picture taken but we didn’t always feel that way. LORE TIME… Mike proposed during a branding photoshoot we were doing ourselves and I was so nervous I swore at him five seconds before he asked me to marry him 👼

Over the years we’ve learned to take the advice we give our clients and lean in. Pose how we guide you to pose. And the results speak for themselves 😉

BUT what makes it all come together is having a talented, energy-rich photographer who can give you guidance and capture you at the right moments from the right angles while you do your thing.

Enter Addie. I’ve been crushing on her for a minute so when I was her post about spring minis I jumped at the chance and made a fun date day out of it with Mike.

20/10 would do again. She reminds me so much of how I work and we love the photos. Thank you Addie! 💞

The last couple weeks at Bow Market ❤️‍🔥

Between weddings and countless SATURATED sessions it’s been a whirlwind of joy, giggles, and pure exhaustion.

We took a long weekend to hang with family and recoup, but are back Bow Market this week!
