Sometimes we find us on our knees…
Asking God questions… not questioning our faith.
Aching for more… asking God when.
Cry from hurt… asking for help.
Broken from the past… seeking healing.
Confused… seeking wisdom.
But you see, this is where the relationship grows. A relationship is two ways. It grows in the hard times, times when you can just be hurt, but be together. A time you can rest together even when It doesn’t make sense!! When was the last time you’ve hit your knees? God wants us to draw near in heart ache, draw near in pain, draw near when we are at the end of ourselves.
He loves us, cares for us, and wants the good the bad, and the ugly. Just because we are disappointed doesn’t mean we lack faith. Just because we are frustrated doesn’t mean we don’t relay on him, we are just leading to rely deeper!
This picture is one of my favorite of camp, and It represents so many lessons God has been laying on my heart this week.
