I’d love to connect with local small business owners and service providers who may be interested in trading services for photography. Family, senior, and branding sessions are all possibilities depending on the trade.

I had the privilege of photographing this sweet family during my summer mini sessions, and I couldn’t wait to share a few favorites.

The golden light showed up, the kids were full of personality, and we captured so many beautiful moments together. From dancing with Dad on a dusty country road to watermelon in the back of an old truck, these images feel like summer memories frozen in time.

One of my favorite things about photography is that years from now, these photos will remind them not just what everyone looked like, but what it felt like to be together in this season of life.

Last weekend, I had one of those moments every photographer dreads.

I had the wrong date booked for my mini sessions.

Cue the panic.

I had to start making phone calls, move sessions around, and figure out how to make everything work. I was embarrassed, stressed, and convinced someone was going to be upset with me.

Instead, every single family met me with kindness.

No one yelled at me. No one made me feel worse than I already felt. Everyone showed grace, patience, and understanding, and together we figured it out.

And because of that, we still ended up creating beautiful memories and galleries that I absolutely love.

This mama-and-me session was one of them.

Just look at the way this little girl looks at her mom. The joy. The trust. The love. You can see how much she adores her mama in every single image, and getting to document relationships like this is such a gift.

I’m wrapping up the last few galleries tonight, and as I do, I just wanted to say thank you.

Thank you to The Liitle Ranch Farm for all their help and every family who rolled with the changes, trusted me, and extended grace when I needed it. These images are proof that even when things don’t go according to plan, something beautiful can still come from it.

On July 18, I’m introducing a brand-new studio experience inspired by childhood summers and the game so many kids can’t get enough of.

Whether you’re looking for individual portraits of your little ballplayer, sibling photos, or images with their teammates and best friends, The Sandlot was created to capture a season of childhood that never lasts quite long enough.

SUMMER INTRODUCTORY PRICING

$100 per immediate family
(plus applicable sales tax)

Individual and sibling sessions will be available from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Want to include teammates, cousins, or best friends?

Sandlot Crew sessions will begin at 1:00 PM and are scheduled separately to allow time for both individual and group photographs. Message me for Crew availability and booking details.

I was thinking about offering some summer Mini sessions in studio for the kids. And then I came across this backdrop! Look how stinking cute it is. I absolutely love the movie The Sandlot and I know it’s a household favorite for a lot of people. I was thinking this backdrop would be super cute for kids who are in baseball. They could come and take pictures with their friends. I was also thinking that it would be cute for Dad‘s and their kids as well. How do we feel about this? Would it be something that we’re interested in and while we’re on that subject? What about something geared a little more towards the girls any requests? Ideas?

Should I bring back drone images?

GALVESTON BEACH SUNSET SESSIONS

Not every season of life announces itself while you’re living it.

Sometimes it looks like wind-blown hair, sandy feet, and one more walk along the water before the sun disappears below the horizon.

On July 10th, I’ll be offering a very limited evening of Beach Sunset Sessions at East Beach in Galveston.

There’s something special about the beach in the evening. The crowds begin to thin out, the light softens, and everyone seems to slow down a little. It’s the perfect setting for relaxed, natural photographs that focus on connection, movement, and genuine moments.

We’ll keep things simple. Walk along the shoreline. Let the kids splash at the edge of the water. Hold hands. Laugh. Watch the sunset together.

The goal isn’t perfection.

It’s creating photographs that feel like the people you love and the season of life you’re in right now.

Perfect for families, maternity, couples, and seniors.
