As many of you know, my husband and I struggled with infertility for 3+ years before eventually resulting to IVF and conceiving my son in 2023. A few of you also know that I was diagnosed with SLE last December (systemic lupus erythematosus.) A couple months into taking my daily lupus medication + some small lifestyle changes, I miraculously tested positive for a spontaneous pregnancy. The doctors told me I had less than a 2% chance of ever conceiving naturally. But my God said, βwatch this.β πͺ½π€
Every piece of the puzzle led me here. Every diagnosis, heartbreak, doubt, doctor visit, blood draw, needle poke, procedure, tear. All the smiles, good news, steps forward, prayers and support.
I am so grateful to God for His guidance and for choosing me to be a mama to another fearfully + wonderfully made miracle. I am also incredibly thankful for all of my clients being so understanding and accommodating while I navigated through my new diagnosis and first trimester of pregnancy. Yβall are the reason I am able to spend most of my time with my baby(s) and for that I will forever be indebted.
October canβt get here soon enough! ππβ¨
